What is the difference between woven interlining and non-woven interlining?

Interlining, also known as fusible interlining, is mainly used for clothing collars, cuffs, pocket openings, skirt waists, hemlines and suit chests, and generally contains hot melt adhesive coatings. According to the different base fabrics, fusible interlinings are mainly divided into woven interlinings and non-woven interlinings.
1. Non woven interlining, as the name implies, is a cloth formed without weaving.
Process principle: The viscose used for chemical fiber is subjected to high temperature and high pressure to form a base fabric. Then a layer of hot melt adhesive is applied to the surface of the base fabric through a coating machine, and then dried to form the non-woven interlining we use.
How to use: Put the glued side of the lining cloth on the fabric, and then use a bonding machine or iron to heat the glue on the lining cloth to melt, so as to achieve the effect of bonding to the fabric.
Features: cheap, soft to the touch, but not very washable (the temperature of the water will be required, normally only resistant to below 70 degrees)
2. Woven interlining, usually used equipment is a key bar loom and a water jet loom to make polyester fabric into a base fabric through weaving.
The base fabric of woven interlining can be woven or knitted. Knitted interlining is also called: knitted fabric, knitted fabric is generally divided into two types, two-sided elastic knitted interlining and four-sided elastic knitted interlining. The width of the interlining is usually 110cm and 150cm. Kind.
The woven interlining now uses PA coating. The dusting glue used on the market before is characterized by a large amount of glue and a simple production process. The disadvantage is that the amount of glue is large, which is prone to glue penetration. It has now been eliminated.
Now the most advanced is the two-point process without foundation paste, which is characterized by easy control of the amount of glue, strong adhesion, washing resistance and other special treatments. It is now used by most manufacturers. The woven interlining is characterized by strong tensile force, good elasticity and washing resistance.
