Special interlining refers to interlining fabrics engineered beyond standard woven or non-woven constructions to deliver a specific functional or aesthetic outcome. Instead of a one-size-fits-all support layer, special interlining is developed around a defined performance goal — a softer enzyme-washed hand, extra stretch and recovery, water repellency, flame retardancy, antibacterial finishing, or a unique bonding profile for a difficult face fabric.
