Woven fusible interlinings made for structure that yet feels soft. We work with a range of weave constructions and coating methods to give the right balance: enough body to support the shape of a garment without giving it that stiffness that makes it feel stodgy or overbuilt. The end result is softly-finished fabric that drapes naturally and moves with wearers – not against them.

These woven fusible interlinings suit a wide variety of fabrics – suits, coats, jackets, casual wear, sportswear and made-to-measure suits – and will adhere well to the base fabric once fused and be made for repeated washing and day-to-day wearing – so the shape you start with is the shape you finish with.

Product Functions and Uses

Woven fusible interlining is mainly used to strengthen, shape, and stabilize sections of garments while maintaining comfort and flexibility. In contrast to non-woven options, woven interlining naturally offers elasticity and the ability to return to its original shape, making it ideal for clothing that requires both movement and a graceful drape.

Key applications of woven interlining include:

  • Providing structural support to garment components such as collars, cuffs, waistbands, plackets, and pocket flaps

  • Maintaining shape to ensure garments look neat and well-finished when worn

  • Offering elastic support that enables the outer fabric to stretch without losing its form

  • Enhancing comfort by reducing stiffness and making the garment more flexible

Knitted interlining is ideal for:

  • Stretchable clothing

  • Lightweight to medium-weight fabrics

  • Fashion garments that require a soft and adaptable form

Product Features

Our woven fusible interlinings feature the following characteristics:

  • Excellent elasticity and resilience: Maintains garment shape even after repeated stretching and washing.

  • Soft texture: Seamlessly integrates with the fabric without adding thickness or stiffness.

  • Superior bonding performance: A uniform bonding coating ensures a strong and stable bond.

  • High breathability: The knitted design promotes airflow and enhances wearing comfort.

  • Dimensional stability: Reduces shrinkage and deformation during garment production and washing.

  • Compatibility: Suitable for cotton, polyester, viscose, blended fabrics, and stretch fabrics.

Product Description

For optimal performance, proper handling of the bonded woven fusible interlining is crucial.

Recommended Usage Guidelines:

  • Pre-testing: A bonding test with the outer fabric is required before mass production.

  • Bonding Temperature: Typically 125°C – 150°C (depending on the adhesive type).

  • Pressure: 2.0 – 4.0 bar.

  • Bonding Time: 10 – 18 seconds.

  • Cooling: Lay the bonded fabric flat to cool before further processing.

Important Notes:

  • Avoid overheating or overpressure to prevent bleed-through or fabric damage.

  • Store the interlining in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight.

  • Ensure the fabric is dry before bonding.
