Enhancing Every Garment
Nonwoven interlining is formed from a bonded fibre web rather than woven yarns. Its handfeel and support depend on the fibre blend, web construction, weight, finish and coating. Compare the specific model with the garment fabric rather than selecting by fibre name alone.
Review each model's composition, weight, width and adhesive information. Confirm whether the proposed material is fusible or requires another attachment method.
When selecting nonwoven interfacing for shirt collars, cuffs and plackets, compare support and handfeel after fusing. For skirts and lightweight garment support or facings, evaluate drape and appearance with the actual shell fabric.
Establish fusing settings from current model guidance and representative fabric trials. Check adhesion, bubbling, strike-through, shrinkage and the intended care method. Read the interlining trial FAQ or request specifications and samples with your fabric and garment requirements.
